Galapagos Islands Exclusive Cruise Boats

Cruising in the Galapagos offers a unique blend of adventure and natural beauty. Travelers can snorkel in crystal-clear waters alongside sea lions, marine iguanas, and colorful fish, or explore the coastline by kayak and paddleboard, soaking in the untouched landscapes. Panga rides provide close encounters with wildlife, navigating through mangroves and spotting seabirds and marine creatures. For those seeking more in-depth exploration, guided hikes across volcanic islands and diving opportunities reveal the rich biodiversity both on land and beneath the surface, making every day a new discovery.

The Galapagos Cruise Boat Options

The cruise operator we work with is managing a fleet of eight small cruise boats, ranging from tourist to luxury class standards. All boats are designed to accommodate up to 16 guests with cabins for either couples (with a double bed), or two or three singles (twin beds and bunk beds). There are dining areas, interior and exterior lounging areas with beach beds, and sometimes even a hot tub. Each boat has a crew of 8-9 people including the boat's captain, the deck crew, a chef, service crew, and an English-speaking naturalist tour guide. Liveaboard diving tours are accompanied by diving instructors and are equipped with all necessary scuba needs. Most boats offer tours of either 4 days / 3 nights, 5 days / 4 nights, 6 days / 5 nights or 7 days / 6 nights. Diving tours are 8 days / 7 nights long.

What Galapagos specialty cruise itinerary is best for me?

Choosing the best Galapagos specialty cruise itinerary depends on your interests and the type of experience you seek. Naturalist cruises range from 4 to 8 days (3 to 7 nights) and are ideal for travelers wanting to explore the islands’ unique wildlife and ecosystems both on land and in water. These cruises focus on activities like guided hikes, snorkeling, and panga rides, visiting a variety of islands to see iconic species such as giant tortoises, marine iguanas, and blue-footed boobies.

On the other hand, diving liveaboard cruises, typically lasting 8 days (7 nights), cater to avid divers looking to explore the underwater world of the Galapagos. These cruises focus on multiple daily dives at top sites like Darwin and Wolf Islands, where you can encounter hammerhead sharks, whale sharks, and other marine species. If you’re passionate about diving, the liveaboard option is unbeatable, while naturalist cruises offer a broader range of activities and are better suited for families or non-divers.
